If you buy a new trailer it's value drops as soon as you sign the paper. The Jayco has has already taken that hit. If you had to sell in a year you would probably get more of your money back on the Jayco. If the Jayco is as clean as you say I would call that dealer and thank him for his time and say you are going to buy the other unit. I bet he drops his price. Oh I had a Jayco TT for 10 years was a great unit.
Dealer is getting frustrated with me...lol. Said that was his final price and he has others interested. One thing is for sure, I did a search on RV trader and called the biggest Jayco sellers and they are not touching his ask of $21,900. Most are $26k for 2017.
Dealer is a dealer. If he had someone who wanted to buy it, it would be sold already. Don’t believe that he’s holding it for you.....
If warranty is important buy the new one, if residual value is important buy the used one. If your keeping it for a long time, neither really matters.
