This topic is disturbing to me as I have just purchased a new 2015 GMC 3500 long box DRW and found that there is quite a bit of overhang movement by my Lance 1181 while driving and this could be made worse by the truck camper rocking on the crown of the truck bed. Here I am trying to reduce this movement by looking to install Lance overhang struts to the trucks hood hinges. Seems pretty counter productive to me. I am going to check the bed of truck with a straight edge to confirm if it is also in the Sierra GMC series trucks. I was wondering why there was less space between top of truck box side rails and bottom of truck camper from front to back - this could explain some of it but hope I will be wrong.
