I just can not figure why some of you guys are having batteries go dead on you. I never had to take out a fuse on either of my Honda toads, and never had a battery go dead on me. I have towed up to seven hundred miles in one days driving and the batteries have held up good.
Maybe it is because when I had my Blue Ox tow bar and plate they installed the proper diodes under the back cap of the coach.
But I do turn off my radio, heaters or any electrical draw with the exception of the Brake Buddy. And that hardly ever goes on, unless I make a hard stop. But even at that it should not use that much amperage.
