one other thought on the CRV..I was having trouble with the CRV "dying" when I went around a corner or when my foot was on the brake...Ah..a trip to the Service Manager..it seems the 2012 I bought was one of those that they installed a "safety" devise...it seems a few years ago some vehicle"s foot feed would stick..can't remember the brand..was it Toyota? any way to avoid the speed there is an electrical devise developed that monitors the foot feed and brake..therefore if your foot is on the brake it seems the vehicle goes to idle..my manual did not say anything about such devise...thats the only part of the CRV I don't like.
