CA Central Valley members?

Hello all, I was just wondering if there was any one in the valley that would be willing to help me with setting up my WD hitch? I just picked up a new TH and the dealer setup the hitch but now that I have it home I notice the rear end of the trailer is a bit lower than the front. This new trailer is also really low to the ground and the rear is only about 8" from the ground; I really don't want to mea up my new trailer but I feel uncomfortable making adjustments the the hitch setup myself and im hoping someone experienced could help me out.
  • No need to be fearful or hesitant to work on your hitch. Look at this thread for some help.
In your particular case, sounds like all you need to do is take out the two large bolts holding the hitch head to the shank, raise the head up to the next set of holes and insert the bolts. Check your trailer measurements and if it is level or very slightly nose down, tighten up the bolts to the recommended torque of approx 300ft/lbs.
    Good luck.
