Cabinet Latch Alternatives (Rare Earth Magnets?)

I purchased a bunch of rare earth magnets to make a rack for my Kitchen Knife set. They work great, and are VERY strong, but make sure you buy the ones with screw holes already in them. The material CANNOT be drilled.
