cable driven Slide out Gearbox

I have a 2015 Keystone Passport Ultra Lite Elite 31RE. My passenger side slide out will not go out. You have to push it out. It will come in on its own. It sounds like the gearbox is the issue when going out. Has anyone replaced these? If so where did you buy it?
How hard was it? Any help would be GREAT!! Thank you

If it goes out but not in the gearbox is NOT the issue. Switch, Controller, Broken cables.. But the same gear box runs it out as in if the gearbox was broken it would not move period,

This is the correct answer. It is not the gearbox if it will move either direction. It is also not the motor itself. If all 4 cables on the inside and outside of slide are not broken or missing then it is most likely your switch or possibly a wire disconnected at the motor. All of these items are easy to check.

  • We had our kitchen slide gearbox go out on our 5th on our second trip. Even after having it replaced we still have to assist the motor when putting it out or pulling in. My opinion is some of these slides are just too heavy.
  • gearboxes on them are going out here lately pm me i will be happy to guide you through the repair

Accuslide is most likely the maker or accu-slide.. The gearbox is most likely ABOVE the slide out inside. Odds are.

1: IF it makes noise but does not move.. Bad cables

2: If it makes no nose, dirty switch or mis-adjusted controller (Near the motor above the slide)

YOu can remove the face board at the top (inside) of the side to observe.
  • Check your private messages - I sent you my email address so I can send you the repair manual for the cable slide.
