Calgon water softener for sensors

Why is there a difference between using the liquid and powder versions of calgon water softener for cleaning grey tank sensors.

I can’t seem to find the powder in any of the stores near me. Is there a good place to buy the powder?
  • I don't use the geo method to do anything with the sensors; gave up on them long ago and rarely check them anyway.

Difference between Powder and Liquid.. not worth mentioning.

Someone said "you have to dislove it in water first" if you use powder..No, just dump it in, and drive, it will dislove and mix in as you drive.

Makes no difference.. Powder is usually a bit less expensive, but not always.

weight. The powder weighs less - for the weight-conscious RVers.
