There was a PA woman (IIRC employed in PA as a prison guard) who was initially jailed in NJ after a traffic stop as a result of a data base search revealing she had a CCW.

Again, there is no such national database. However, I do believe as a courtesy if an officer from one state requests it a search will be done.
