All of you in other states claiming that your gas taxes are even higher than CA; keep in mind that you STILL are paying significantly less $ per gallon than CA. Average nationwide cost of (regular) is currently $2.47, while in CA it is $3.04 (jumping to $3.16 tomorrow).
