These stories make you wonder how we ever survived without 50amp full service hookups!
In the early sixties, on my dad's one week vacation, all 12 of us would pack up in the station wagon and drive down to Lake of the Ozarks. We rented a cabin that didn't have electricity. One day my brothers were in the boat and began chasing a water moccasin. Standing there on the covered boat deck I decided to wave with both hands. I lost my balance and the water pushed me under the deck. To this day, I want to say I still remember my mom reaching under the deck and pulling me by the hair to get me out.
You wouldn't get away with 12 people in a packed station wagon today. Makes you wonder how we all survived our childhoods.
