I would put it under poor design. Glitz would be the useless cabnet they put around it.:R
I think "television viewing angle" would fall under the heading of just more "glitz". :) - timmacExplorer

X2, my 08 gas Bounder has great access to all systems and no electric components near possible water leaks as well. - AvaExplorerMakes me appreciate my 94 Bounder DP more as I have had no problem accessing any of the systems so far.
- jjjExplorerWhen my converter died I found it mounted on the underside of the bathroom floor under the toilet. Go figure. I remounted it on the front compartment floor next to the breaker panel.

- colliehaulerExplorer IIIOr to access the hydraulic pump on my Cherokee the slide out has to be out to get to it. When a o-ring went out and lost fluid I could not access the pump to change it. Had to crawl under the trailer discount the hydraulic ram and run the slide out with a Cresent wrench. Then I could fix the pump. Same trailer the black and gray drain valves are under the bedroom slide so you have to crawl under to dump when set up.
On the Wildwood they put the heater under the sink with the p trap directly over the electric portion. The water pump is located under the frig next to the wall, very difficult to reach to winterize. The speakers were wired with the left chanel being the two speakers in the living room and the right channel was the two speakers in the bedroom.
Don't even get me started about television viewing angle in most RV's. - pennysmom09ExplorerWhose brilliant design idea was it to put the furnace exhaust practically directly below the outside electrical outlet!! Everytime we use the outlet for extended periods, and it's cold....have to remember to be sure the cord is clamped away some how!
- fj12ryderExplorer IIIIt's "glitz" not "glitch". "Dazzled by the glitz".
- isellsunshineExplorerMy point isn't it was a surprise that's where it is, it's that when the toilet leaks it blows out your inverter. Just seems silly place for it.
- downtheroadExplorerDutchmenSport above is correct...
But, most often it takes a couple of tries (purchases) to get it right.
We are on our 5 trailer...and paid our dues many times while learning what to "really" look for and look at when shopping for a new rig.
