Camco says they have these in their warehouse and I have to order thru one of their distributors I have contacted a dozen of them and they all tell me they do not have them and cannot get them. What is going on here CAMCO ????

So is Camco the only brand you can use? Looks like a pretty standardized item to me.

Looks like it may have been replaced with #44424.

Amazon has them. Several other online sellers including Walmart have them too under pn 44424

Wood is good for both. And for argument sake, if on a sandy pad, with some rain, you will need boards under them anyways. Or they will settle if your there for a bit.

My Thought as well. I don't trust a plastic support not to collapse under the weight of the fiver.
If the Camco supports were to collapse under the front jacks it would be a disaster.
A 6x6 would block will not collapse.
