Very true and we also have our own bed. I hate a strange bed anyway. I always wondered if they went through your belongings.

I always wondered if they went through your belongings.I seriously doubt this happens at every hotel. If this bothers you, don't cross the border into Canada. Border agents regularly search motorhomes. And they ask you to leave the vehicle so you can't see what they are looking at.

As a regional sales manage I spent almost 40 years working out of hotels and motel. I never had a problem with theft, bed bugs, etc.We travel in an RV only because it is what we like to do. It is also a problem finding hotels that allow dogs without a big up charge. Our dogs are part of our family as they allow us to travel with them.

Ignorance is bliss. Don't watch how your food is being prepared if you want to continue to eat in restaurants or go to a meat processing plant unless you are prepared to become a vegetarian.
