- RollandBExplorerHaving had the grand kids with us last year on a pouring rainy day, we took the campfire indoors and used the gas stove top. The microwave just doesn't put the black on the marshmallows like a flame...:)
- mileshuffExplorerNo wood campfires is the rule here in AZ until the monsoons hit in early July. We make smores on the propane grill or use a propane campfire such as the little red portable campfire.
- PauljdavExplorerWe still had our smores. It is amazing how good they come out in the microwave.
- PopcornJunkieExplorerGood news for those still camping! My kids and I returned home today from camping, and the kids were disappointed not being able to roast hot dogs and make smores. We all missed the campfire. We had fun anyway. I bought Keebler's Fudge Stripes Cookies and Jet-Puffed Marshmallow creme. Had the kids put marshmallow creme between two cookies. They were happy with the substitute. Tried one myself and it wasn't bad.
