Campfire in a can

I recently purchased this one. Looks like the price has increased since I bought mine. I'm pleased so far.

sadly, they do seem to be out of business. I have the original campfire in a can, and compared to others I have seen, it has a higher BTU output, more heat and is much easier to transport in a trailer. But it was higher priced and some of the others are nice units as well.

IMHO the effort to build a nice break down real firepit did them in. Good idea, they just couldn't pull it off.

Doesn't Canadian beer have a higher alcohol content then beer sold in the US? If that is the case, then less Canadian beer might just equal more US beer.

If I wanted something like that I think I could build something similar to it from mostly spare parts.

Would not be round though.

Doesn't matter what "sufficient quality" even means because that is a personal opinion. If you never had them side by side there is no discussion because the differences are obvious. Overpriced is another opinion but they sure aren't cheap. All the reasons they are gone.

Hmmm... Not sure what made the original Campfire in a Can "far superior". Always seemed to me to be a way overpriced portable campfire. The Little Red Campfire (and the larger Big Red Campfire) are sufficient quality for the intended use. Personally, I prefer the Camp Chef fire pit This one, for just $60 but my brother has the Little Red and a friend has a Big Red, and there is nothing wrong with their quality. I just don't think that much of a market existed for the original version at 3X the price.

Fire Dancer is more attractive.

If you google "campfire in a can out of business" you'll find they tried and failed at a kickstarter campaign back in 2015.
