May I emphasize from my original post .... I was simply giving a suggestion for the "LAZY" camper who just wants to get a fire going as fast and easy as possible and get on with life! This product is not for campers who thinks they need to be "survivalist."
In our case, we supplement the heat in the house (all electric) with real burning wood, since we have a fireplace with a blower. We keep the "electric" heat temperature relatively low. So when we come home from work, we need a fire going fast in the fire place. We can throw a few logs on, place the EZ Lite packet on top, hit it with the torch, and that's it! done! fire immediately ... and it keeps burning.
I'm getting too danged old to fiddle-fart around trying to prove my manhood. I've tried the "hard" way long enough. It's time to spoil myself now!
Fiddling around with belly button lint and magnifying glasses just won't cut it any more.
There again, let me suggest, this product is easy and it NOT for the survivalist!
