campfire
Not sure if this is the area to ask but how do y'all start yer campfires. I use alot of newspapers and twigs. Sometimes it takes awhile. Thanks.

Hubby makes his own fire starters... uses a paper egg carton, dryer lint, and old used candles (bought at yard sales etc. He starts by breaking up the candles (depending on size), while they are melting (use a double boiler) (he bought his pots at a yard sale) fill each area of the egg carton with lint, then pour the melted wax till each "egg" is filled, and let cool he then cuts each carton up to 12 individual fire-starters. It took him about an hour or so to make enough to last all summer. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!!
