The most expensive thing in a campground is an empty site.
I'm sitting at a campground in central Texas right now - for $300 per month - 50Amp/Water/Sewer - electricity included in the price and not metered.
They told me when I made the reservation - full payment required at the time of reservation, no refunds. If my cancellation reason was deemed 'acceptable' by the management, I would get a 50% credit to be used within the next year.
I didn't like the terms, but I planned to be in this area for a month. So we took the chance.
I took the risk, knowing I could lose the money if something changed our plans.
