As camp hosts if we see something going on that is disturbing fellow campers or rules are broken, we will nicely talk to the offender - kids or adults. We don't wait until a complaint has been issued. I know some hosts stay pretty much at their campsite but we are always roaming the campground and saying "hi" so we can get a feel of things going on. If a problem continues, we are requested to report to the ranger. We don't do any enforcement and we are always asked by management not to do so. However, a gentle talking to at the very beginning usually takes care of the problems. Happy Camping the next time.
By the way, if the guitar playing could be heard two sites away and it was after quiet time, that, too, would be addressed. :) - even if they were good players!
