When we have stayed at Ocean Lakes we have seen the birds and squirrels go through the trash bags that people leave to be picked up. Based on wht type of bags they used, how they secured it, I would suspect that this is what happened. Of course some pig could of tossed them there too. You are at the beach and people need to secure their trash better. The wind is going to blow. We've seen where people use those pop up type trash cans and watch them blow all across the park before. Keep your trash inside or secured in your truck until time for trash pickup. Not speaking to you specifically, but to those that visit this place and others like it.
