silly rv'rs don't you know one of the biggest giveaways is when you park your RV in front of your house (some to possibly show off to the neighbors) and load it up wash it and do this and that for a few days to a week and then poof its gone and your house is quiet, what a better layed out sign that says "I am no where near so rob me" than that
My unit never sits on the driveway for more than 1/2 an hour. the rest of the time it is nicely hidden way out back behind my workshop not visible from the road hopefully soon to be in its own cozy little garage back there to not even visible to a tresspasser.
as an extra precaution I have someone feeding my pets they randomly leave things on like a tv in the family room then the tv in the guest room the next day, and they will shuffle vehicles around a couple times over the period of a week. plus I forward all my calls to my cell, so anyone calling to check and see if I am not home, will reach me.
I own a business which is a frequent target for thieves, and I have learnt from the misfortunes of my competitors
