My suggestion is when you drop yourself into a large group of people which you do not know and are of varying levels of education, wealth and ideals that you leave your pet peeves at home.....relax

Thread closed - stetwoodExploreradd all those strings of camp lights in state parks. Love it when there aren't even security lights and need the flashlight to find the shower room.

LOUD music.
LOUD talking
just lack of courtesy I guess is my pet peeve - PopsieExplorerpet peeves
1. odors
2. smoke
3. bugs
4. trash - Olde_Volks_PlacExplorerMine is parents not keeping an eye/ear on their kids and allowing them to run through other's campsite and be as loud as they can be and never saying anything to them. AND this comes from a parent of 6, and yes kids will be kids but they need to be reminded of how to act in a campground and to remember their manners. And NO my kids do not have the run of the place just because we are on vacation, Our kids know better there is NO VACATION on manners period.
And the other is pets, I know this might upset some folks on here so sorry if it does, BUT I can't stand to listen to pets bark all day and night and the owner/parent of these noise makers not being respectfull of other campers.
RESPECT that is what it comes down to no matter what the issue, NOT the "it is all about me" which is what we see today. - Notthru2ExplorerMy camping pet peeve is the same as the one I have at home. Why would someone imagine that I want to listen to that yappy little dog, or a big one for that matter. Can the owner not hear? Do they enjoy the barking? All that is usually necessary is to let the dog in the RV or the house. Seems like the considerate thing to me.
