Retailers depend on the fact the majority of consumers are not "street wise" when it comes personal purchasing. Those of us who are Internet "savvy" tend to do a lot of comparison shopping on-line for the best deal.
The past year we have purchased a considerable amount of our durable and soft goods from Amazon due to the very quick delivery and free 2-day shipping with out prime membership. One must watch the prices but generally they are competitive, we receive the merchandise quickly, and we do not have to spend time shopping stores and using car fuel.
