Nope...they have a policy as do most other lots (RV's and cars) that they are not responsible....
If you don't take your valuables with you, then you are responsible. Insurance is all I can say. Police investigation? Good luck. Depends on where you are at. I know in Charlotte they won't even come out anymore. File it online or on the phone. If you have serial numbers of your camera equipment, it can be registered in the NCIC database as stolen and pawn shops will be notified of these.
Otherwise, good luck with your insurance.
