Campsite/Campground Theft
I read quite often in this forum of people securing anything that weighs less than their RV to deter theft. It is a shame if this needs to be done and I am wondering if theft at campgrounds is as bad...

Only had a theft twice and both times were alcohol related.
The first time they took about 15 buds, all that were left, from the cooler while we were sleeping in a tent about 10' away. I'm sure it was kids because we also had some juice boxes and saw one or two of them empty on our site.
The next time was last month. I was in the camper trying to fall asleep when I thought I heard footsteps outside. The cooler was next to the camper. I heard some noise again and went outside and definitely heard footsteps running away. Again, a few beers were taken. The joke was probably on them though because I only had glass bottles that needed an opener. lol
My bikes, kayaks and grill/LP tank get locked up.
