Campsite/Campground Theft
I read quite often in this forum of people securing anything that weighs less than their RV to deter theft. It is a shame if this needs to be done and I am wondering if theft at campgrounds is as bad...

Our 3rd time out this summer some people next to us (f/t RVers) in a tribal campground had their stack of wood taken RIGHT out from under their slide out (bedroom)! They were not happy. We had visited with them a few times that weekend and they were extra fun folks! The guy was a Vietnam veteran, protective and had a concealed w-permit. It's probably a good thing they didn't wake up to hear someone copping their wood - it could have ended ugly.
They had a very neat set up, and after that they pulled in their expensive items at night. We decided to learn from their lesson. We put anything of decent value up at night. Then...there's nothing to worry about.
