So lots of good points and lots of sky is falling reactions and not enough info by the OP (generally the case here on this forum…) to even begin to formulate a decision by us, save for those that are so possessive or creeped out by someone else sleeping in THEIR bed. (Do you not use hotels either?)
Now to make the decision, what you haven’t included or even inferred,
Who’s truck?
Their experience towing and or running a camper?
How far?
How long?
How much do you trust her to do the right thing “if” it were to get damaged?
I have friends I’d let drive anything but my wife. And I also have friends, good friends, that I wouldn’t let on a bicycle I owned.
