We must have good water in Oregon, I haven't done anything but add water as needed for 50 years. I have no filter, and use our well water. I also rode in the back of pickups as a kid. I guess it is a wonder that I am still alive.

Whenever someone uses that as a snarky example of over-cautiousness, I think of a friend who fell from the back of a pickup going <5 mph. He left behind a wife and two young kids.
