Can somebody recommend a really comfortable camp chair?

Like most people here we own or have owned several different kinds of portable folding camp chairs, bag chairs etc...none of them are really comfortable but it hasn't mattered until now. We have downsized to a smaller trailer that has a so-called jackknife sofa which is unbearably uncomfortable and can't be removed. If We could discover a folding chair that is truly comfortable that would solve the problem. We just need something we could sit in for 2 or 3 hours. Note: at this point we are more like "camping in an rv" than rving and that sofa is atrocious...

  • O usually sit on a saw log. Not that comfortable but totally recyclable and I don't have to pack it up either....
  • Dick’s rockingchair. Sittin’ in it right now on breezy evening at Furance Creek.

I have to ask what keeps you from removing the sofa? Mine went right out the door in my Jayco.

To remove it would uncover the top of the grey water holding tank which is a few inches above the floor...so that one could not use the vacated floor area to place a recliner or better chair....also exposes the slide motor and a lot of wires (that problem could be solved)

  • Friends have these http://www.campingworld.com/brown-club-chair and they are as comfortable as any I’ve come across.
  • We broke all the cardinal rules of camping last week-end ... we stayed in a motel! OH THE SHAME! But also learned something. Swimming pool patio furniture is VERY comfortable. It's just not collapsable.
