I agree you need more weight distribution. Can you add more tilt to the hitch head?
Also, what year Tahoe? If you have the round tube receiver, fix that first before adjusting your WD properly. That hitch is a poor design, and is actually more likely to fail with more weight distributed, because the gussets don't like the upward force that weight distribution applies.
