If I was the OP and concerned about catching the virus, the last place I would want to go right now is the New York metro area which has by far the most cases. Why not just hang out where you are for a bit.
I can say that there was a guy charged with violating the stay at home order here in Ohio locally and I can also say the guy went to jail. (See how juicy it is when I leave out certain details like the typical media report?) The rest of the story is he was arrested at Target for shoplifting about $800 worth of Apple stuff and they just tacked the stay at home violation on top since shoplifting is not an essential activity. I'm sure it will all be plea bargained away anyhow.
Did anyone happen to catch the news that the guy who did the study in the UK that stated 2 million dead in the US if we don't do anything has revised his numbers? You know, that study that triggered the whole world to go into lockdown? Yeah...... he says he may have made a mistake with his calculations and revised his number to 20,000, less than even a minor flu season. Headline news on CNN and MSNBC I bet. No?? This is a nasty bug, but not nearly as bad as we have been led to believe. The numbers are not following the worst case scenario many have been swallowing whole. It will be OK, this will pass and soon.
On a side note about the RV net crowd, just an observation. The ones most concerned and calling for the most strict solutions about the virus in this thread are the same folks who think we might only have 12 years left anyway. Hmmmmm
