Canadian NP's parks free in 2017

This may be of some interest if you are traveling through Canada this year. I just read that 2017 is an anniversary for Canada and the NP entrance fee is waived for the whole year. Camping fees stay the same.
  • You do not have to have to get a pass ahead of time. If you show up at the park entrance without one, they give you one.
  • Cool, I wish I could build a summer plan that far out in advance. I would love to visit Canada. It is only 10 hours away from me. I just don't know how to find a place to stay.

In my area I stay at out of the way county (local) parks. When I look for places like that on line in Manitoba south of Winnipeg where I want to go I don't seem to find much. I bet that places like that are around there I just don't know how to find them.
