REFUND POLICY OF MEDIPAC IS UNREALISTIC
We arrived back in canada may 28-2016(saturday) our insurance is to June 7-2016. so there are 10 days we do not have need for the insurance. Medipac requirement - refunds are available for 10 days minimum.
so we should get a refund - except - the fine print says they use the later of "the postmark date of the refund request" & the date of insurance to terminate. - there is no where we can get a postmark on a saturday! I telephoned on May 31 and told of the postmark date rule - ( and yes I now reread the policy and there it is) but who would have dreamed it would come into play like this. The refund even after the $20.00 processing fee for me is about $175.00 and about $100.00 for my wife. I think Medipac needs to rethink their rules - I ask members to point this out to medipac at every opportunity.
