I hear what you all are saying. But I can get the thermocoupler to be hot enough to allow me to turn on the full flame of the Water Heater. But there is no propane coming out of the pilot light hole. So even though I can start the heater it will only run for 45 seconds or so then the thermocoupler cools down because it has no flame under it.

If u have a volt meter pull off the thermocouple and heat up the cylinder end ...when hot it should measure at least 750 millivolts
