canyon de chelly campground
We are planning on going up to Canyon de Chelly next week. We are looking at staying at the cottonwood campground. Has anyone stayed up there? Or have any suggestions on where to camp?

There are two campgrounds. Cottonwood is very nice and well maintained, with restrooms water and a dump station. It is now under the management of the Navajo Nation.
The other is Spider Rock, and is Privately owned. We have never stayed there so I can not comment.
