Last week, a young lady was headed eastbound on the country road in front of our work. Nice sunny day. Ed was out front with a customer, when he heard a strange sound, only to see that the young lady's car had crossed the westbound lane, tore across our "front yard", took out our mailbox, did a "Duke's of Hazzard" flying leap across our neighbor's parking lot, narrowly missed a 6' fence of a third business, and then did another leap back across both lanes of road to end up at the Post Office. The guys ran to make sure she was all right - she "didn't know what happened". I hope the responding Sheriff's Deputy checked her phone records.... she was SOOOO lucky there wasn't any oncoming traffic.
