We have a 1 year old house and our basement carbon monoxide alarm (hard wired)went off. There was no possible source in the house so I suspected the CO detector. I plugged in a portable CO detector and it showed nothing. I replaced the bad CO detector and no more problems. They do fail. Replace your CO detector and if the new one alarms you really do have carbon monoxide entering your RV.
