When operating a non-vented heater there are TWO possible issues.
CO is one, CO can be prevented if the burner is properly adjusted, and in most Catalytic heaters, it is properly adjusted, CO output is very low, if any.
However not only do you not want to breath CO.. YOU DO want to breath Oxygen.
And the heaters eat oxygen.. Now some of them have a sensor which is SUPPOSED to shut 'em down before it shuts you down.. If, that is, it works, and though I often put a lot of faith in safety gear... That much I don't have. (Faith that is).. The safety gear I trust is way simpler than that sensor.
