I enjoy Boggle with two (or more) people. Chess, Checkers, Othello/Reversi, Backgammon, etc. are all traditional two-person games that many people like.
Cribbage and double solitaire are about the only two fun two-person card games I can think of offhand, cribbage particularly so. Many more fun card games are available for three or four or more people.
