I replaced the cheapo Chinese tires on my trailer after 2 years and 1200 miles (had 2 tires with shifted belts), with a set of Carlisles. I don`t have 1 complaint about them. In my research the failures seem to be associated with the load range "C" tires. I`m running load range "E"`s (ST225/75/15) and am very happy with them. the first set took me 5 years and approx. 12k miles. with many 65+mph hwy trips in the July heat. Smoky`s, Disney World (separate trips), Northern WI, Mackinaw MI, Niagara Falls, and many other 3-5 hour trips! The replacements were just installed this year and made it to Myrtle Beach and back without issue! when the time comes if we still have the trailer I will replace them with another set of Carlisles.
