You are right that sometimes there are incentives to use dealer financing, but unless one compares by first researching other finance options, then just walking into the dealer and automatically using the dealer to obtain financing, one is foolish.
so according to nYT data (which I always question) you believe that 88.3 % of car buyers are foolish for having given somebody their SSN. originally you automatically considered anybody financing their vehicle to be foolish.
