I HAVE to jump in here.
Bought our brand new Cyclone in May, 2011. In June, our brakes went almost completely dead. Our first experience was when we almost hit a minivan that tried to move out of the way for an ambulance (no lie).
Dealer tried to fix but didn't work. Back again so we called Heartland for help. Remember, this thing is only two months old to us. Heartland says, "Its Dexter's axles, its Dexter's problem. That's all we can do."
I have to live with the concept of having to chase down part manufacturers for warranty items. But when brakes go out on a new camper and the manufacturer is only willing to give you a phone number of who to call, that speaks volumes to me.
Underlying issue, too. If our camper brakes had failed and we ran over that minivan, do you think their lawyer would have left Heartland out of the multi-million dollar lawsuit on this two month old camper?
