I have been told (but never had to try it) that if you get a customer service representative on the phone that you believe is not in the United States, all you have to do is ask to speak with a rep in the United States. I am told that they are required to connect you to an American rep.
As I said before, I have not had to try this. If someone knows if this is so, please update us?
