cat scale weights result
First off, let me say I do lots of research and not much on posts. I am going to give my cat scale results and ask for opinions from the forum. I may not respond further, just absorb the answers. The following results are for a F350 SRW long bed diesel 4x4. We will be pulling a 5th wheel . This weigh was with both tanks full of fuel, both propane tanks full, no accumulation to speak of in the waste tanks. Fresh water at around 1/3 full. I am very comfortable with ow the rig handles so far, the bed is level when hooked up, and only compresses about 4 inches when the 5th is hooked up. These results are with every thing we will haul on our first trip with this rig.
First weigh
steer.....5360
drive.....7380
trailer...11250
gross.....24260
second weigh
steer.....5360
drive.....4000
trailer...0000
gross.....9400
That results in a pin weight of 3380 if my figures are correct.
What is the opinion of the folks here!
