On my TT there is a piece of trim over the seem between the filon side, and the aluminum skirt. The caulk on that piece of trim has separated, and needs to be replaced. It is a clear caulk.
Can I use clear exterior door and window caulk?? I know you have to use dicor or eternabond on the roof, but on the side piece can I use regular caulk??
Dicor non leveling would work, but look like **** and not match the rest of the trailer. What brand trailer?
A lot of Forest River products would be Geocel, either Proflex RV or 2300.
A lot of Keystone products may be Tremco Trempro 644, a neutral cure silicone.
You wont find those products at the big box or Ace, look online.
The best part is they change what they use sometimes. Call or send an email to the manufacturer and ask them. That sometimes works, and sometimes they have not a clue what they used LOL.
