CB or Ham Radio good to get in contact to other RVers?

I have also used 146.52 simplex for chats while traveling. Remember that if you just ride along listening, others may be doing the same. Ships passing in the dark kind of thing. I announce that I'm listening on 52 simplex every so often and have more luck "trolling" than just waiting for a call.
