CB or Ham Radio good to get in contact to other RVers?

We have both: A regular CB in the motorhome and a handheld CB used for spotting when backing into a tight campsight. I usually run with the CB on CH19 to hear about accidents/traffic problems ahead. I agree that there is not much chatter on the CB anymore. That handheld CB is real useful in the hand of your spotter, and they're cheap.
