CB or Ham Radio good to get in contact to other RVers?

I have both CB and Ham in the RV, If I'm traveling in "Convoy" with other rigs (RV or Semi) CB is usually used. but.. Well.. I've been in places where the CB did not do the job, Neither did the VHF/UHF ham gear. Or my cell phones (2 different carriers)

But the HF rig.. Well... Though I do have to set it up when I want to use it, and I've got to be parked to do that.. .IT's never failed me yet.

But you need at least a General class for it.
