Ceiling Stain

I purchased a motorhome which had set unused for six years. It survived that so well that I am shocked. No big problems after batteries were replaced. Even the generator is OK. A few trips have shown it to be in good shape.
But one problem. The antenna had leaked, staining the light colored carpet-like ceiling. We used OxyClean on it, mixed one scoop to 16 oz. It just changed the stain darker!
Has anyone discovered a solution to this?

Without knowing how large a stain this might be in advance, you might build a decorative round piece of wood with the antenna crank hole in the middle, then put that on the ceiling to conceal the stain.

they sell round plastic things like this to put where a ceiling fan is mounted or where a ceiling mounted light is.

Try some Folex you can get it at Lowes and other places.

Another vote for Folex, spray it on and BLOT..do not rub.It may take a time or two but it got out my stain.
  • I had dark water stains on my carpet-like ceiling. Used peroxide and water and it came completely off. Use it all the time now.
